I turned thirty this week, so I thought it would be appropriate to make my first ‘Royale Friday Night Mix’ podcast a bit of a (semi-chronological) insight into some of the songs and/or artists that have helped define my listening habits over the last 15 years or so, since I first started ‘getting into’ music as a teenager at high school. Not an exhaustive list by any means, since there’s no way I could fit EVERY artist that has meant something to me into two hours, this is nonetheless a good ‘taste’ of the sort of music that’s been the background to my life from the age of fifteen till now.
