Max Interactive needed some creative to go with our listing in the Digital Media World Online Services print directory (akin to an industry-specific Yellow Pages for online advertising).

Rather than using the existing 'Puppy' creatives from our previous magazine advertisements, it was decided to emphasise the 'global' nature of the brand, based on our close network ties with Oridian, who are primarily based in a number of overseas locations. Further, the creative layout was to be spread over one and three quarter pages with a fold in the middle, as the left-hand side would carry a data-box insert created by the directory publishers, with the actual contents of our directory listing.

Therefore a new concept was needed, and this was the result.

The background image was sourced from Istockphoto, appropriately licensed, and then manipulated in Photoshop and Illustrator with various gradients and other effects added, the mixture of elements in foreground and background changed, placements moved to allow for the physical fold-line in final output, and generally cleaned up.

Text copy was then added, along with appropriate logos, and the final output was saved as a high-quality print ready PDF in custom size, and dispatched to the directory publishers for printing on glossy magazine print stock.
